Mmm, candied violet

I'm currently in the process of finishing up an assignment that's due tomorrow. I felt I needed a break though, so here I am with another NOTD :).

For this post, I have Ulta3's Candied violet. Like I said in my previous post, I have been lemming for this polish for agessssssss! I was absolutely over the moon when I found this in the Ulta3 bin at the chemist. Shown is three coats of this goodie with Ulta3's Non chip top coat. A beautiful violet base with tiny silver glitter suspended in it. The polish does dry slightly gritty, but a top coat should do the job.

Truthfully though, I had such high expectations for this polish that I was just that tiny bit underwhelmed by it. I guess this will teach me to stop having such high standards. Because honestly, this polish is gorgeous. A blurred shot for the shimmer show up (not colour accurate here).

Macro shot. Just wondering if you guys like these types of shots? If so, I'll include more of them in future posts :).
