I've always admired Erin Wasson's paired down yet chic look and her summer rtw 2010 collaboration with RVCA collection is to die for! The collection is very bicoastal bohemian and is complimented by a desert-burnt beauty look that's really easy to copy. 

For the make-up: Create a 'roughened up' smokey eye with brown and sand eyeshadow, black kohl eyeliner on the bottom lid only (smudge in a little vaseline to get that wet-black look) and lots of mascara. 

Next apply Maybelline NY Dream Liquid Mousse to the face with a mineralize powder on top for sheen. A pinky blush was applied below the eyes and on the cheeks to create a baked effect. Maybeline Color Sensational lipstick in 'Plum perfect' was then finger-patted onto the lips. 

For the hair: Twist sections of your hair into little chignons', spray with Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray (or make your own by mixing sea salt and boiling water into a spay bottle - wait till cool), blow-dry, back-comb and finger-separate to get that 'abused hair' look. 

Think 'dirty & sexy in the sahara' and you'll bound to get it right! ;)
