To end Drug Store Week, I thought I'd show you the cheapest of the cheapo nail polishes, Sinful Colors. They're usually a whopping $1.99 at Walgreen's, but this week they're buy one get one free, so $1. A few new colors just came out, and I picked some up on my way home from an outing last night.
These are also hit or miss for me, largely due to drying time. Some are fine, some simply never ever dry all the way. But for $1 and a good color, I'll roll the dice.
The first two glitters, I just swatched over black to show you the glitter. They're one coat each over the black.
Queen of Beauty is a silver glitter in a clear base.
All About You is a bunch of super fine gold glitter in a clear base.
Then the more interesting ones... See You Soon is a deep teal blue, opaque in two coats.
To it, I added one coat of Nail Junkie (great name!).
I Love You is a glittery purple jelly, and this is two coats.
And here's a finished manicure, where I added two coats of I Miss You, a purple based glitter, to I Love You.
There were a couple more new ones, but to be honest, my patience for swatching reaches its limit at about six, so that's all I have.
That's all for now, Dear Reader. Supposing the I Love You/I Miss You manicure actually dries, that'll be all for today. If it gets messed up in a few hours because it didn't cure despite Diamont and Freeze Dry, then I might have something else for you...
Until next time, Dear Reader, love and nail polish to you!
