Today, I have Color Club's Rebel Debutante Collection for you, the last full collection I have here to show you. As with the other two Color Club collections, these are ones I bought (I have to get that out of the way or I'll forget!). This is in generally very cool collection with a great name. Like the last two, it's all cremes, and there are nine in this one. They can be divided into three groups: the browns, the purples, and the oddballs. There are four browns, three purples, and the poor l'il oddballs, a blue and a green.
All nine of these were three coaters for me, but they applied well and were easy to control. The pictures were taken in somewhat strong natural light. In swatching and then doing a comparison, I found that the namesake of this collection, Rebel Debutante, which is the green, is virtually indistinguishable on the nail from Poptastic's Twiggie, which I showed you on Wednesday. The comparison of the two is at the very end. Let's get to it!
First up are the browns. Who Are You Wearing? is a very pale, almost white creme that's roughly the color of a button mushroom. This is my least favorite, as it's not completely opaque in three coats.

High Society is a light taupe creme, opaque and even in three coats. I have no objection to this one, but would probably be more fond of it if there weren't a zillion taupe cremes already.

Best Dressed List is a pale brown creme, definitely a subdued shade.

Charity Ball is one that surprised me. It's a medium reddish brown creme, and I found it unappealing in the bottle, but like it quite a bit on the nail.

Those are the four browns. Now there are three purples, or purple-ish in the case of the first. She's Sooo Glam is a medium lilac pink creme. It's a very pretty and feminine color, but not terribly unique.

Uptown Girl is unique. It's a medium grey purple creme, and might be my favorite in this collection.

Ms. Socialite is a very rich berry/plum creme, another one I think is good. However, it's also not the most unique in the world.

That brings us to the oddballs. Gossip Column is a very strong color, a somewhat teal medium blue creme.

Finally, Rebel Debutante is a very vivid light green. It would be unique but for the fact that it's the same color as Color Club's Poptastic Collection's Twiggie.

Just to be sure, I compared Rebel Debutante to Twiggie. The first picture is in direct sunlight, the second in indirect. Without such strong light, they're identical. Index and ring are Twiggie, thumb, middle, and pinky are Rebel Debutante.

Rebel Debutante is a great color in my opinion, but if you have one of the two, you don't need to bother with the other. In walking around the house kind of lighting, there's no difference at all.
So Color Club's Rebel Debutante Collection ends one swatchtastic week for me! I don't think I've ever shown you so many full collections in one week before. I have some ideas for things to show you this weekend, but next week we'll have some completely different things in store if all goes well, and a little change of pace might be fun.
