12 Days of Christmas Nails: Day 1

It's December! My countdown to Christmas has officially started and I'll be documenting it on my nails (of course!). It's my plan to post 12 Holiday themed manicures before Santa pays a visit . Apologies in advance if I don't manage to post 12 but I'll try my best!

I used A-England Galahad* as a base and sponged on Barry M Blue Glitter from the tips. I stamped the snowflake from Bundle Monster plate BM14 and finished it with a rhinestone and a top coat of NYC.

Camera woe's and French Kisses

First I have to apologize for the color freakout from my cameraMaybe I've over used it or maybe it just sucks but it is doing strange things lately. From hazy, blurry, super bright, way off color, washed out to just plain craptastic pics.I am on a no buy to try and save up to get a decent camera by February. I recieved a beautiful H&M Lipgloss compact in "French Kiss" from the fantabulousLily of

Happy Days

I'm very happy today because Superdrug finally have 'NYC In A New York Minute' top coat in stock.
For weeks now, I've been diluting my gloopy bottle with GOSH top coat and every time I was near a Superdrug I HAD to go in and check for it until today, finally, I found some.
I was a bit worried they'd stopped making the stuff but it turns out they've just changed the packaging. I don't see why it should be out of stock for 4 weeks just for a change of packaging?!

Here's my shiny new bottle on the right with the old one on the left. Can you see how yellow the old one's gone?

I took advantage of the 3 for 2 offer (on all cosmetics at Superdrug) and bought two bottles of the NYC and the Barry M blue glitter because I love the red one so much.

Festive Fingertips

Normally I steer well clear of glitter nail polish but this one's just too Christmassy not to wear! So here's my first Christmas Mani...

Winter Has Arrived

I've been wanting to use this design since I got the Bundle Monster plates but it seemed a bit wrong to do it while the weather was still warm. It caught my eye today and since the weather has turned icy cold this week it seemed like a good idea to stamp some snowflakes on my nails.

I'm just a Zombie girl living in a cupcake world!

I took my 9 year old daughter out fora girls day out for her Birthday. We went to a Tea Room for lunch. (Lots of snitty side glares over my pink hair, tattoos and who knows)Then we went to the mall (I hate the mall) so she could spend her Bday money.(Hot Topic has no Twilight crap left now and I found a studded bra, score)
So I had to do my nails for the big day of Toture fun.She said nothing

Never Have I Ever...

... used EIGHT COATS to get a polish to look opaque on my nails!!
This is one of my new polishes from Martian Delights and it took at least 8 coats. Oh, and you can still see nail line :(
It's a shame cuz it's a really nice colour too. Hopefully it will thicken up, maybe in a year or two, haha.
