Lippmann Collection Pump Up the Jam, Plus a New Contest!

Good afternoon, Dear Reader!

I have lots and lots for you today! Our last giveaway ended over the weekend, with Steph W. from the USA as the winner. Congrats to Steph! It was so much fun that I decided to do an even more fun contest this week. The prize is pretty cool - it's OPI's Get In-Spider-ed set of four minis, decals, and a glow in the dark spider ring. It was the only one at Ulta when I went there a few weeks ago, and I picked it up. However, I decided that since I already have the full-size Ghostess with the Mostess (which is one of the minis, the glow-in-the-dark), and I've been using the Konad rather than decals, I'd give this one away. As you know, Dear Reader, I've been all about nail art lately, and that's what this set is intended for - to inspire you! So this time, rather than a random drawing, I'm asking what mani you'd do with the set, and the winner will be the one with the most creative idea for it. If it's a close call, I might have to seek outside counsel from a few nail art masters, but otherwise it will just be my opinion. Since this contest will be judged rather than random, enter with as many times as you'd like as the ideas come to you this week. Your name as you enter it and your suggested mani description will show (since inspiration is the point here), so if one idea shows up twice, I'll consider the first one entered to be fair (so no copycatting!). Again, this contest is open to all readers world wide, and your email address will only be used to notify you if you're the winner. On the "details" tab, you can see an itty-bitty picure of the set, so I'll be posting a larger picture throughout the week so you can see the decals, the colors, and get some fun ideas. Here it is for today...

Now, on to today's nail polish - Lippmann Collection Pump Up the Jam. I've wanted this since I first saw it, and cracked when I got some others. It's darker than I'd hoped - in direct sunlight the blackberry shimmer shows, but not so much in regular light. Here's the polish on its own.

And here it is after I took the Konad to it, since it was plain, being near black. I don't have two pictures of this mani because I'm not sure whether I like it or not yet, but figured, what the heck, I can post one...

That's all for now, Dear Reader. I look forward to reading your creative mani entries, and love and nail polish to you!
